1. About Ocean Soul Travel

Ocean Soul Travel provides curated travel planning, personalised itineraries, transport coordination, accommodation recommendations, activity bookings, and travel-related experiences within Sri Lanka.

All experiences are subject to availability, local conditions, supplier operations, and seasonal factors.

2. Bookings & Inquiries

Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a booking.

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

• written confirmation from Ocean Soul Travel, and

• receipt of any required deposit or payment.

Ocean Soul Travel reserves the right to refuse or decline bookings at its discretion.

3. Pricing & Availability

All pricing is subject to:

• seasonal availability,

• supplier changes,

• exchange rate fluctuations,

• government taxes or fees,

• fuel or transport cost adjustments.

Prices may change until a booking is officially confirmed.

Ocean Soul Travel reserves the right to modify pricing where necessary due to external operational changes.

4. Deposits & Payments

Certain experiences or bookings may require a non-refundable deposit to secure:

• accommodation,

• transport,

• guides,

• activities,

• or other travel services.

Payment schedules and deposit terms will be communicated during the booking process.

Failure to complete payments within agreed timelines may result in cancellation of services.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation policies may vary depending on:

• accommodation providers,

• transport suppliers,

• activity operators,

• and custom itinerary planning already completed.

Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Ocean Soul Travel is not responsible for losses caused by:

• airline cancellations,

• weather conditions,

• natural events,

• political instability,

• strikes,

• transport delays,

• illness,

• or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Refunds, where applicable, may be subject to third-party supplier policies.

6. Itinerary Changes

Travel in Sri Lanka may occasionally require flexibility due to:

• weather conditions,

• ocean conditions,

• road closures,

• local events,

• safety considerations,

• supplier availability,

• or operational limitations.

Ocean Soul Travel reserves the right to adjust itineraries, accommodations, transport, activities, or schedules when reasonably necessary.

Where possible, alternatives of similar value and experience will be provided.

7. Third-Party Providers

Ocean Soul Travel works with independent third-party providers including:

• hotels,

• drivers,

• guides,

• surf instructors,

• wellness practitioners,

• activity operators,

• and transport companies.

While we carefully select our partners, Ocean Soul Travel is not directly liable for:

• acts,

• omissions,

• delays,

• injuries,

• service interruptions,

• or failures caused by third-party providers.

8. Personal Responsibility

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they:

• hold valid passports and visas,

• meet entry requirements,

• obtain appropriate travel insurance,

• disclose relevant medical conditions,

• and assess their own fitness for activities.

Participation in activities such as surfing, hiking, safaris, watersports, and wellness experiences is undertaken at the traveler’s own risk.

9. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers.

This should include coverage for:

• medical expenses,

• cancellations,

• personal belongings,

• activity participation,

• transport disruption,

• and emergency situations.

Ocean Soul Travel is not responsible for uninsured losses.

10. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ocean Soul Travel shall not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential losses,

• personal injury,

• property damage,

• delays,

• missed connections,

• loss of enjoyment,

• emotional distress,

• or financial losses arising from travel arrangements or third-party services.

All travel involves inherent risks, including environmental, transport, weather, and activity-related risks.
